                                          Seeking Balance in Airport Screening

In “Administration to Seek Balance in Airport Screening” Scott Shane points out that airport screening has become too demanding and there has been threats of new terror attacks on the air crafts. Obama’s administration was offended when hearing the security measures have gone to far. They're demanding the procedures that are happening should be “justified” by the risks. According to Shane, when the “aggressive” pat down procedure was brought up by the agency the officials tried polls and getting opinions from the public on the use of body scanners. For these people Scott Shane says, the body scanners are being limited as well as the pat down procedure for the secondary screening, but for the travelers who look suspicious. Scott Shane argues that the officials shouldn't be increasing security for all the passengers but should consider keeping an eye on certain passengers such as watching their behavior and questioning the ones who pose a threat.
